Lawrence Taylor enjoyed his greatest season in 1986 leading the NFL with 20.5 sacks and winning the NFL's Most Valuable Player Award, a rare accomplishment for a defensive player.


Affectionately dubbed "Rambo" by his teammates, Mark Bavaro was a hard nosed tight end who fought with reckless abandon for every inch he could get.  He led the Giants with 1006 yards on 66 receptions in 1986 and earning a trip to the Pro Bowl.
